[TYPO3-dam] indexing has stopped working

I have been using dam for a couple months with typo3 4.02. Last week the 
indexing function stopped working. Previous I had been able to index all my 
file mounts. Now if I do a dry run on a file mount it goes through fine but 
when I do the actual indexing it stops at various points and doesn't resume. 
I'd appreciate any help this is really slowing me down and is very 
frustrating.
