Because
a) there is no good reason (and there never was one) to have it removed by
default
b) people who want to use it might not have access to the TSconfig section
of a page
c) it's much easier for those who don't need it to simply ignore it instead
of pretending it was gone and forcing users into TSconfig to get it back

Just my 3 cents :-)
