I´ll take a look in 1.0.7 but at the moment the following is generated:

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="fileadmin/templates/basemod.css" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="fileadmin/templates/basemod_2.css" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="fileadmin/templates/content.css" />

	<title></title>
	<meta name="generator" content="TYPO3 4.0 CMS" />
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" 
href="typo3temp/fancyCornerStyles_234387443.css" />

As you can see the default styles of CSS styled content are imported 
first _before_ my own styles _followed_ by styles of fancyCorners?!

That´s preventing me from overriding the extension stylesheet.
