"border" is already there, have you tried it? You can even style your
own border in your CSS. Currently you have to name the CSS-class from
the border settings in your template (e.g. "csi-border-2-black" for
thickness "2" and color "black"). See the default _CSS_DEFAULT_STYLE for
a start on that.

In the next release you will be able to construct different renderers
with TypoScript, where each might even have different border styles (or
any other setting) associated with it, so you can provide different
"Text with image" "styles" for your users (e.g. "normal border", "blue
border", "no margin between images", etc).

And also in the next release: The whole beast will be documented, so you
don't have to fiddle around the source code to find out the cool
features. :)
