Ah ok i checked your stuff again. You want to use it in the "allArticles 
= 1" Mode. And there it is only possible to display the Icon of the 
Attribute but not of the attribute value.

Can you please create a new patch file and add a RFC to the commerce 
developer list (typo3.teams.commerce)?
