[TYPO3-commerce] com_defaultstock still necessary?

..ahem... well, who wrote it there???
It's in the plugin-tx_commerce.templateMarkers section, where the
markers are defined. I thought it is possible to assign a newly created
marker - a remark in the category_product.tpl (right in the header)
gives a similar hint , but there is nowhere an explanation on how to use
it.
I thought it must be sth like
...
description = ARTICLE_DESCRIPTION_NEWNAMEFORMARKER
but that doesn't work.
Any chance to give an example?
The reason I ask is that I try to set up some video tutes on how to work
with templates and TS that I would eventually like to give back to the
community - so any help is very welcome!
Thanks!
