[TYPO3-commerce] Basket session issue?

Hi

I have installed version 0.9.8 of the commerce extension. I have a 
problem with the basket.

When adding an item it redirects to the basket and I see my item and 
subtotal etc. But if I add another item, the existing item is thrown 
away. Likewise, if I press the basket link in my menu, the basket seems 
empty?

What might I have forgotten?
