[TYPO3-commerce] books in different language - articles or two trees?

Hello,

We stuck with a commerce configuration...
The problem is, that we have lots of books/papers (>500) which exists in
two language.

Would you do this with articles?

We thought it is possible with two trees (FR & DE), but the problem is,
the language fallback is not working.

Is there a other solution?
