[TYPO3-commerce] Using SSL for checkout

Good morning dear listmembers,

I haven't found a good solution in the commerce list, wiki or  
generally at google to implement SSL into commerce. Ideally, the  
application would switch after clicking the checkout-link in the  
basket automatically to https. I think from the viewpoint of  
performance, it would be not the best way to run the whole shop in SSL- 
mode? What is the best practice so far?
