Hi!

I just want to give you a short update of the current state of commerce
and the next steps of the development.

Two weeks ago, we had a very good workshop here in Duesseldorf together
with 14 developers interested in commerce. During these days we
discussed a lot of stuff and already fixed some bugs. Following of the
meetings teams are currently working on different tasks:

Documentation
Andrea, Patrik and Alex, who already have written some TYPO3-books in
German are currently writing a documentation for commerce. This
documentation is first written in German but will be translated very
fast to English, we already have a team for it (Dirk & Cynthia) and I'm
pretty sure the translation progress will be very fast.

Drop-Downs for Attributes, Simple-Mode and Search Interface for Orders
These issues are assigned to Volker and his Team in Hamburg and these
will be implemented during this month.

Related Products and Bugfixes (bugtracker)
These issues are assigned to me and my team here in Duesseldorf and we
will want to finish the work also by end of this month.

Demo shop and development platform
Christian, Sebastian an Ralf will work on a demo-shop and a test
platform for commerce, where we can show the features of commerce and
also could test specific setups. I think this will be ready also by the
end of this month.

Move to forge
The forge team has announced the move late this month, afterwards we
will setup this project in forge accordingly and move everything to
forge. We hope we could also setup at fore some kind of
project/development exchange system to help to develop features together
in the community.

Best regards

Ingo
