[TYPO3-commerce] Problem with checkout

Hi all,

I've been struggling with getting a shop up and running using
commerce, no small thanks to the excellent tutorial by Steffen.

However, I'm stumped at a problem in the 1-2-3 checkout. After
checking my data in step 4, checking the terms and conditions box and
pressing the Continue button, I get bumped back to step 3 with my
payment info. I'm using credit card as payment.  I checked using
Invoice, and that works. Does credit card payment require payment
processing of some sort? I was hoping to be able to manually process
credit cards on my end.
