[TYPO3-commerce] Hook Question

I need to extend the commerce extension (0.9.8) more precisey I need the
article attributes in the "invoice".

In class.tx_commerce_pi6.php I found the following hook:

$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['EXTCONF']['commerce/pi6/class.tx_commerce_pi6.p
hp']['invoice']

 

There is a marker called "additionalMarkers"

 

So my question is, which is the easiest way to use this marker?

Do I have to make an extension?
