Hi Timo,

I think you should set a 
debug($GLOBALS['TSFE']->fe_user->tx_commerce_basket) or debug($this) in 
the pi5-class for the checkout so you can see wich vars are correctly 
set an wich not. not a really clean way but if you see any errors.
This helped me sometimes.
