Hi Bernd,

thank you for your proposal to solve this issue. :)

I tried renaming files and the contents in the database but ended up in exactly the same situation, so not the multiple dots were the problem. Fortunately I found that there exists a corresponding issue containing also a workaround that worked for me:

Migrate file relations fails on filenames starting with number
