[TYPO3-calendar] category icons showing up with file name instead of icon in backend

Maybe this helps?
I'm using Typo3 6.2.25 and Cal 1.10.3 and the icon displays:

Template: event_model.tmpl
###CATEGORY_ICON###

Constants:
plugin.tx_cal_controller.view.imagePath = fileadmin/template/extTemplate/cal/icons

Setup:
plugin.tx_cal_controller.view.event.event {
   categoryIcon = <img class="catIcon" src="###IMG_PATH###/%%%CATICON%%%" border="0" height="20" title="%%%CATTITLE%%%"/>  </p>
}


plugin.tx_cal_controller.view.list.event {
  category {
    dataWrap = <p><span class="label">Kategorie:&nbsp;</span> |</p>
    }    
   categoryIcon = <img class="catIcon" src="###IMG_PATH###/%%%CATICON%%%" border="0" height="50" title="%%%CATTITLE%%%"/>  
}
