[TYPO3-calendar] german characterset on ics-import

Hi everyone,

on reading calendar data from an ics-file containing utf-8 coded german
characters like ö,ü,ä,ß these chars are not decoded correctly into the
database table tx_cal_event.

I altered the table to utf8_general_ci and recoded all the entries, but
everything is still shown as it was before. What settings have to be
done for importing the utf-8 coded ics-file to the tx_cal_event table
preserving the correct coding?
