[TYPO3-calendar] Show Category menu calendar view in FE without category check boxes marked as selected

Hi everybody.

- We have a front end view with category menu and many categories

- The category menu has all of the category check boxes marked as selected 
by default. Users have to click away a lot of categories to get the 
selection they want (usually just one)

- Is there a setting to display the category check boxes as *not* selected?
