Hi everybody,

since we all agreed that the mentioned folder contains much stuff that
is not really required in most TYPO3 setup, there are still some
extensions that depend on that functionality. Besides that the
officially documented TypoScript features GMENU_LAYERS and TMENU_LAYERS
have the accordant scripts in that folder.

So, if we start to change the structure now and move files around, we
cannot be sure that it does not break existing stuff. Upgrading from
e.g. TYPO3 4.1 to TYPO3 4.3 would be difficult if stuff from the media
folder is used.

Since we're already in the beta phase of TYPO3 4.3 and want to have the
final release available in one month, I'd suggest to postpone this
cleanup task to the beginning of the 4.4 development.
