No offense taken :) I use it because it is already there :) Your recipe is fully valid and good!

I think it is good to get rid of the "bodytext" but it would be great to do it for the 4.3 part of the CSS styled content and leave 4.2 part untouched. By "part" here I mean different TS files supplied by this extension. Than old sites can rely on 4.2 styles. This simplifies upgrades.
