[TYPO3-project-4-3] ExtBase / Blog example

Hi,

I have ExtBase and the Blog Example up and running, and now I am trying to 
understand whats going on behind the scene. I new to PHP, but I have be 
working with sevel different program langauge. I know TYPO3 as a BE 
adminitrator.
And now to my question......
 A FlexForm is used in the extension, but it is not visible (active) in the 
BE! Do I have to active it with TS variables or what? If yes which variable?
