[TYPO3-project-4-3] little icon problem

Hi,

if you look to the screenshots you see this icon "insert5.png"

There is a new version of it in t3skin, but as the default is
$GLOBALS['TBE_STYLES']['skinImgAutoCfg']['forceFileExtension'] = 'gif'

it looks in t3skin for insert5.gif (not present, only insert5.png).

Now the most easy solution is to add this icon as insert5.gif to t3skin 
what i did here (see 2nd screen).

Now, what is the purpose in general: If force is gif and it's not found, 
should there be a fallback to original filename?
