you are free to give the rights for the field to admin only or special 
editors.

Sure there are several ways to do that, but if i need something special, i 
can't use the CE but i have to define complete Element in TS.

The main problem atm is IMHO if you place plugins on the page and you need 
different settings for each that can only applied via TS. Best practice 
example is placing 3 news plugins on a page having different "global" 
settings.
