Hi all,

I'm looking for an expert on setting up typo3 for speed. I have been
asked to put speculative costs on a job creating a site that will be
launched with a high profile PR campaign on British television.

The site will be funded by a charity grant and will be about giving away
free high quality (potentially life saving) health information.

Initially I'm trying to put together estimated costs to go into the
grant application documentation. While I can create the Typo3 website no
problem, I don't have the skills to set up the server environment
properly so that it can handle the sudden burst traffic that could come
from the TV coverage.

Because the project will be linked to some very well known UK TV
personalities, it is vital that the site doesn't fall over if it gets
sudden traffic spikes.

At this stage, would some kind person be willing to spend 5 minutes
giving me a hint as to what sort of hardware/hosting might be required
and some potential ball park costs for consultancy fees to set this up
properly? These figures would go into the bid. The job will only become
definite provided the funding comes through.

While the details of the project are confidential, I can say that if it
comes off, it will do a lot of good for a lot of people and be a very
worthwhile project.

Additionally, I have a contact who is very likely to need assistance
tuning Typo3 on an Amazon Cloud environment in the next few months.
Again this is about handling burst traffic rather than high volume traffic.

Many thanks
David Green
