(Catching the speaking-ball.)

Hey you all!

My name is Nicolas Forgerit. I'm 23 years old and i'm currently
enrolled at KIT (former "Uni Karlsruhe", but they decided going on
with fancy names instead of proper education).

I've worked at punkt.de (a more or less well-known TYPO3 agency in
Karlsruhe) for about a year and could gain some additional experience
with some other commercial projects.
During the GSoC11 i want to help closing the gap between TYPO3v4 and
v5 by introducing a tool (better said: several tools) which translates
v4 content into F3 Repository-capable data which can then be used by
the TYPO3v5 module. This will be done with XSL Transformations and is
(hopefully) flexible enough to resist the further evolution of TYPO3.

Pascal, maybe we can develop some things together since i'm highly
interested in a RESTful interface for CRUD-operations on the
FLOW3-Content Repository. I currently need some further thoughts about
that but i guess that we can abstract the solution enough to solve
both our problems (and many more). What do you think? :)

Okay, enough of the nerdstuff. I'm quite excited about the following
months and i hope to learn to know some nice people (whom may i visit
first? :) ) and finally get in touch with the awesome TYPO3 community!
:)

Ciao
  Nico
