[TYPO3-german] 404-Fehler beim Introductionpackage unter Linux

Hallo an die Typo3-Experten,

Möglicherweise bereits bekannt: der 404-Error beim Aufruf des IP unter Linux 
beim Einsatz der T3 Version 4.7.7.

Im Bugreport hierzu heisst es, das sei gelöst - durch Einsatz der mitgelieferten 
.htaccess.

Dies kann ich leider nicht bestätigen und bitte deshalb um anderweitige Hinweise.
Unten hineinkopiert die.htaccess, die im Verzeichnis des IP liegt.
Dieses wiederum liegt als Unterverzeichnis in der Web-Root (/var/www).
Es läuft ein Apache 2.2 (Debian).
Apache Module nach Auskunft von phpinfo:

PHP5 ist V 5.4.4

Mutmasslich liegt der Fehler bei RealUrl.
Es traten aber auch weitere Fehler auf, etwa beim Einbinden von CSS-Stylesheets 
mit Typoscript - gab ebenfalls 404, während ein direkter Aufruf durch das 
Template erfolgreich war.
