Hi Kati,
ich habe rgsmoothgallery auch auf einer seite im einsatz:

und dort läuft sie ohne probleme auch im IE.
gerade noch mal im IE 7 und 6 getestet.

möglicherweise liegt es an deinen CSS modifikationen oder einem anderen
teil deiner seitel kann man denn deine seite irgendwo einsehen um zu
gucken was du gemacht hast?
