[TYPO3-german] Charset wird nicht aus Template uebernommen

Hallo!

Nach der Installation von Typo3 3.8.1 auf Mac OS X 10.4.4 nach dem Tut
"Modern template building" habe ich eine der Seiten an den
XHTML-Validator geschickt, der folgendes ausspuckt:

Character Encoding mismatch!

The character encoding specified in the HTTP header (iso-8859-1) is
different from the value in the <meta> element (utf-8). I will use the
value from the HTTP header (iso-8859-1) for this validation.

Im verwendeten Template steht:

Kann mir jemand sagen, wie dieser Fehler entsteht und mir Abhilfe
nennen? Der Charset soll UTF-8 sein, auch heute schon, da es sich um
eine mehrsprachige Site handeln wird.
