[TYPO3-english] Cant update extension-list in typo3 7.6.4

Hi

I have a problem updating the extension-list in my typo3 7.6.4. I keep 
saying:
         Update Extension List
         Could not access remote resource 
http://repositories.typo3.org/mirrors.xml.gz.
in a red box.

When I try to use wget I get the following certificate-error:


$ wget http://repositories.typo3.org/mirrors.xml.gz

Is this a problem with repositories.typo3.org or is the problem with my 
hosting-company?
