[TYPO3-english] TYPO3 7 and BasicFileUtility::getTotalFileInfo()

Hello,

The wiki: https://wiki.typo3.org/TYPO3_CMS_7.0
says that BasicFileUtility::getTotalFileInfo()  has been removed and 
instead use $GLOBALS['BE_USER']->getFileStorages()

But this function does not work for me and it fails if you're not logged 
in to the backend. Is there any documentation about this function?
