[TYPO3-english] Login to backend not working in Firefox 41.02 - can anyone confirm this?

Can't confirm (it's working fine here with TYPO3 6.2.15), but after 
checking the version of Firefox it started downloading an update and 
currently it's on 42.0

Can you check if the update still has the same issues? (And please do a 
core update too)
