[TYPO3-english] tt_news and Debian 8

I have a question about the  for dependencies this extenions because Debian
8 has a version of php that is to high and that all dependency checks will
be turned off. The version of php that I have is PHP 5.6.7-1 (cli) (built:
Mar 24 2015 12:30:15).

Should I install the news extention with the key of news instead?  If so is
there a complete version of the documentation for this available? The
official version has missing pages for administration and configuration. :(
