New TYPO3 6.2 installations are usually no problem at all when using the Aimeos distribution. Could you please do the following:

- Do a fresh TYPO3 install with a clean database or remove any page tree that already have been imported
- Make sure that the "Scheduler" extension is activated in the Extension Manager
- Go to "Get preconfigured distribution" in the Extension Manager and install the Aimeos distribution

Problems you might have faced up to now:
- You get an error if the "Scheduler" extension is not activated before installation of the Aimeos distribution due to a bug in the TYPO3 Extension Manager (should be fixed in the next TYPO3 release)
- Things might not work as expected if you download the Aimeos distribution package manually and install it into your TYPO3 system after uploading it to your server. This is due to an inconsistency in the Extension Manager that doesn't execute the necessary scripts after installation of the extension if it was installed manually
- If you got an exception when you open an Aimeos page in the frontend or trying to open the Aimeos shop admin interface in the backend, the database tables haven't been created due to the script that wasn't executed automatically on manual uploads
