This extension hasn't been updated in years and doesn't tell with which 
TYPO3 versions it works. It's not even listed in the TER list on 
typo3.org unless you activate the filter for "outdated extensions".

Seems to me that not many people use it.

Maybe you can ask the extension author for support? He's listed at
http://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/extensions/extendedshop/Index.html
