[TYPO3-english] Install of Typo3 6.2.5 on hosted server (Debian)

I get the following in a box while doing the initial web install process:


Maximum size for POST requests is smaller than maximum upload filesize in PHP


upload_max_filesize=40M
 post_max_size=8M
 You have defined a maximum size for file uploads in PHP which exceeds the allowed size for POST requests. Therefore the file uploads can also not be larger than 8M.


So, I'm new to all this, plus I don't have ROOT access, and honestly am pretty proud I've gotten this far...

Also, my PHP and MySQL versions are sufficient to meet min reqs, but not recommended specs.  I can find out specifics if I necessary.

Still, what can I do about this to correct it;  if nothing, is it going to ruin my install or just limit my uploads?
