[TYPO3-english] Alternative SMTP server for TYPO3 4.5

Hello TYPO3 guys!

For massive emailing purpose I need to redefine/use an alternative SMTP server just
for direct_mail, is it possible?

I just think about changing global vars from localconf.php
$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['MAIL']['transport_smtp_server'] etc via TSconfig or
somehow for an extension or a page, I didn't find how to.

There is an old extension that could do that but it does not work anymore with latest
direct_mail that uses swiftmail with smtp from localconf (sms_direct_mail_ext)

Any idea? (google was not my friend on this topic)
