[TYPO3-english] Disabling "Show hidden content elements" & "Go to list module"

Not very useful to hide this completely. If someone creates (or pastes) 
a content element / page (/record) it is hidden by default (to not let 
it show on the live website immediately). If the checkbox is not checked 
and also hidden there is no way to further edit it.
Also, if you hide a record there would be no way to unhide it again.

No option to hide it. But, it's only visible if you open a page of type 
"folder" and if you are not in the list module already.
How does this make it simpler for editing news records?
