[TYPO3-english] Access module goes blank

Hi,

TYPO3 6.1.7

New site, I want to give access to a backend group to edit pages.

When I click Access -> root page -> Permissions and I click root page's 
pencil, the content frame goes blank. The modules and sitetree are still 
there.

I have the
		'devIPmask' => 'my.ip.add.ress',
		'displayErrors' => '2',


and error logs give nothing.

Only thing I found was with firefox devtools Console:

What can I do, wouldn't want to give permissions page by page.
