Thank you very much Peter, that almost solved my problem.

Now i have this:
root (containing the template and set as root)
home (shortcut to root)

All the elements that were in "home", i placed it in root like Jan said. 

And i say "almost" because i only have one problem: i was using an extension template in the homepage, but now it is applying that specific code to all the other pages in the website. And if i place the code in "home" it doesnt do anything, so what do i have to do ?
