[TYPO3-english] extbase: empty arguments?

Hi,

i have an extension which get some Arguments with
$this->request->getArguments().

It works mostly fine, but now i've noticed that on Servers like
"Mittwald" (Provider) the Arguments are empty.

but why? an idea?
