[TYPO3-english] editor does not load when using a Macbook

I'm a typo3 editor. We use it for our intranet. I usually use Typo3 on a windows computer. When i try to edit or create a news item on my Mac at home, i can edit the title and sub header, but in the field for the text I get the message 'The editor is being loaded. Please Wait' . The editor doesn't load though. Does anybody know how to fix this?
