Probably a long stretch, but you do include the static template
css_styled content (which contains styles.content.get)?

Also, could you try to make content_top (or any of the others used in
your threerow template) into something like this:
content_top = TEXT
content_top.value = Hello World!

That way we can narrow it down whether or not something is wrong with
your templates (if still nothing is rendered) or with retrieving the
records.
