[TYPO3-english] Re: Why am I having trouble saving objects to the database in a typo3 v4.5.30 extension?

turns out that is not just the foreign key fields that do not save, if I try to add a  simple text field it does into get saved either, I just get a new row with no data other than the typo3 stuff like uid and tstamp etc.
