Hi TYPO3 administrators and developers,

Version 6.0.0 of extension Static Info Tables has been released to TER:
http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/static_info_tables

This version includes:
- SQL tables definition and data insertion,
- pre-existing API for use in non-Extbase plugins and, now also,
   backend modules,
- Extbase domain models and repositories for use in Extbase/Fluid
   extensions,
- language pack creation/update backend module,
- dbal-compatibility.

The language packs created by the backend module will:
- add label columns to the SQL tables allowing for localization,
- update the tables with any available values for the added columns,
- extend the Extbase domain models to include the additional properties,
- be dbal-compatible.

Version 6.0.0 of Static Info Tables requires TYPO3 6.0.6+. Sites using 
TYPO3 4.3.0-4.7.99 should use version 2.3.2 which was released yesterday.

Extension Static Info Tables Manager (cc_infotablesmgm) becomes obsolete 
and will not be maintained any further.

In order for all features of version 6.0.0 to behave correctly, all 
language packs will need to be re-created using the new backend module. 
Until the existing language packs are re-published by their respective 
authors, administrators may work around the issue by using the backend 
module to update any installed language packs.

The backend module also includes a simple form that may be used
- by administrators and language pack authors: as a tool for testing
   the behaviour after installation of the extension and any language
   packs,
- by developers: as an example of the use of the domain models and
   repositories.
