[TYPO3-english] TYPO3 CMS 4.5.26: YAG and JB GD Resize - no thumbnails in the BE, picture not resized in picture view

Hello ML-readers.

Running 4.5.26, YAG 1.5.4 (as content element) and JB GD Resize 1.1.5
On the server is no IM available (that's why JB GD Resize is in use ;) )

In the FE, the gallery and album thumbnails are fine.

The challenge(s):
- the thumbnails are not generated in the YAG BE-view.
- when opening the album in the FE, the pictures are not resized 
- some EXIF data in the "picture view" are not displayed. (Description, 
Artist, Keywords)

Is there a chance to get YAG running on an environment w/o Imagemagick?
