[TYPO3-english] FAL Versioning Diable

Hi all


I have created a custom extension for assigning custom categories to dam media file (i know for assigning categories we can use dam_cat ext . This is for a special req).And now am trying to rewrite this extension into FAL .So when i checked this, Each time when an editor assigns a category to a particular file there is a duplicate entry in the table sys_file with " t3ver_stage => 0". So is there any method to avoid versioning of FAL media files  or In short how to disable versioning of FAL media file  ??
