Just would like to comment on that. TYPO3 6.2 alpha1 is out, I
understand you would like to already try now to migrate to 6.2-dev but
you cannot expect all extensions to be already fully compatible with
what has not reached the milestone "feature freeze".

TV and RealURL *will* be compatible with TYPO3 6.2, that's not a
supposition, that's a certainty! What you can do right now is at least
open tickets for problems in extensions you use and possibly help fixing
bugs by either well documenting how to reproduce or try to provide patches.

And just to make it clear, I'm convinced that TV and RealURL will
continue to be quickly updated (though possibly only on their
corresponding Git master branch at first) to be compatible with TYPO3 6.2.

If you don't already, as you work on a -dev version of TYPO3 with 6.2,
you should consider run major extensions from their master branch as
well, it does not make sense to stay on official versions released to
TER at the moment.

And BTW, with the shortcoming change on TER, extension authors will not
be allowed to release new versions of their extensions *officially*
supporting a non active version of TYPO3, 6.2 will start being *active*
when it reaches the milestone feature freeze, aka beta1.

Kind regards
