[TYPO3-english] No html output in tt_news in LIST mode

Found the plugin.tt_news.displayList.subheader_stdWrap.stripHtml = 0/1
parameter.

If set to 1, then ALL html tags are removed.

I set stripHtml = 0 but <p> tags are removed and <a> (links) are
"modified": <a href="mylink.com"> becomes <link httpmylink.com=""> !

Any tips are definitely welcome.
