[TYPO3-english] Cache [4.5 LTS]

Do you have a lot of typoscript conditions in your? This could lead to a huge overhead of cached pages.

I seem to be having a large problem with the cache extension. It's constantly exceeding our disk space quota and the cache_pages table in the database frequently exceeds over a gigabyte. What can I do/how can I setup TYPO3 to either clean the cached pages after a certain amount of time or to reduce the amount of cache allowed?
