[TYPO3-english] Flexform reload

Hi,

Would you know whether it's possible to reload a certain setting on
flexform ONLY when this setting changes from empty to not (or viceversa)?

I know I could do:

<onChange>reload</onChange>

but is it possible only reload it when the field changes from empty to not
(or viceversa)?
