[TYPO3-english] CoolURI: URL w/wo the .html extensions renders the page okay

Hi all,

TYPO3 6.1.5 and CoolURI 1.0.35

The URI format I use in all my sites is:
www.example.com/dir/filename.html

It works just fine under older TYPO3/CoolURI versions with same 
CoolUriConf.xml.   However, using the last versions mentioned above if I 
drop the .html extension from the URL in my browser (i.e. 
www.example.com/dir/filename) the page is rendered just fine as well 
instead of popping up a 404 error.
That's a weird and inconvenient behavior that never happened before. 
For testing I copied the default .xml file amended to show the .html 
extension and the problem persists.

Is this a bug?  Did I miss something?
